Decide the questions first

Examples: Which guide attracts interested readers? Which comparison sends visitors to official documentation? Which recipe sends qualified hosting enquiries?

Events to collect

• Anonymous page views when permitted
• Searches performed without personal identifiers
• Outbound links and the originating page
• Successful contact/conversion events only with proper consent and attribution

Implementation precautions

Do not log emails, passwords, API tokens or full request query strings. Consider local privacy rules, retention periods, consent needs and opt-out mechanisms based on your actual audience and analytics provider.

Validate

Cross-check analytics counts against your own server-side aggregate outbound-click counters. Traffic metrics are not revenue; identify the content producing meaningful downstream actions.
